Following the announcement about the committee nominations on Friday, it has come to light that a 6th Committee nomination was submitted.
This nomination was emailed to the BFA Secretary on the 15th of January, prior to the formal nomination period opening, who responded stating - incorrectly - that the nomination would be put forward for the vote.
The Committee have received the information from ERS and are able to announce the results of the vote on the proposed Constitution and rules of racing.
Following constructive feedback and taking on board suggestions from BFA members, the Rules Working Party and Committee have worked together over the last few days on a revised constitution.
Thank you to all the members who took time to give feedback regarding the proposed Constitution and the Rules of Racing.
The Committee have found this period of consultation very constructive and work has been undertaken this weekend by the Rules Working Party in conjunction with the Committee, to take these comments on board and to make amendments to the documents.
An amended version will be made available to all members this evening, please look out for the announcement.
