The BFA Committee would like to make the membership know that we are incredibly disappointed with the announcement by the Kennel Club today regarding the future organisation of the Crufts flyball qualifiers and finals for 2020. We can empathise with those BFA teams who have hosted qualifiers for many years who have now become surplus to requirements.

The BFA Committee is inviting applications from members who would be interested in being on the Judges Board. Applicants must be a BFA Qualified Judge and have a solid understanding of the BFA rules. Committee Announcement
When communicating with any BFA officials, either in person, telephone conversations or written form, please remember the BFA code of ethics. Some recent correspondence to the committee and other BFA officials has not been in keeping with this and if necessary will be dealt with in line with the disciplinary process outlined in the rules.
With record temperatures being reached up and down the country (even in Scotland!) and the hot weather set to continue, the BFA Committee would like to offer some advice and guidance to TOs, Judges and members regarding the welfare of both dogs and humans whilst flyballing over the summer period.

The Committee and Stats Officer have received numerous enquiries regading points allocation and validation checks. Below is an explanation of the current and previous points systems.
The current system of uploading points has been in use since February this year. While it was being implemented, no points could be uploaded in January as the system used by previous stats officers had become defunct.
