The BFA committee can now announce the November rule changes. These rules will come into effect from 1st November 2019. For your ease, the amendments, which are only minor, are briefly detailed in the following list and also highlighted in red in the attached version of the rules:

Box working group

The committee would like to make you aware that over the course.of the next few weeks, you may see some judges and members taking detailed measurements of your Flyball box at a tournament.

We are collecting information on a wide variety of box designs as part of our study in the the Flyball Box Working Group so please do not be alarmed, we are not looking at your specific box, only your type of box and adding your box information to the study.

Judges Board & Regional Representative Appointments

The Committee are pleased to announce the appointment of members of the Judges Board and Regional Representatives with immediate effect. The Judges Board welcomes Sharon Allcorn (High Flyers), Val Currie (Muskerhounds) and Andrew Short (Commandos) to their team. The Regional Representatives have been joined by: Joanna Bonner (Notts Supadogs) for Humberside, Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire region and Maria Worrall (Aces High) for South Coast - East and West Sussex and Kent region. We wish them well in their new roles

Young members Award Scheme

Shout out to all Junior Members, parents and Team Captains. The Committee have set up a working group to modernise and refresh not only the points award system but to also look into what the BFA can offer its Junior Members as an Association. 

BFA AGM Rule Proposals Results 2019

The Committee are pleased to announce the results of the proposal voting for 2019 as attached. Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit proposals, contribute to discussions at the AGM and by taking part in the voting process. The implementation date for the changes is the 1st June 2019.
