BFA Covid-19 VIPER update - June tournaments

The BFA Committee have held a VIPER meeting via Zoom and, due to the recent government announcement that the lockdown restrictions are due to remain in place for at least a further three weeks, made the decision to cancel all BFA Sanctioned Tournaments up to and including 30th June 2020. All relevant Tournament Organisers have been informed. The affected tournaments are:

BFA AGM Agenda 2020

The BFA Committee have produced the agenda for this year's AGM to be held via Zoom Webinar on Saturday 25th April 2020. Please note that there will be no voting cast on the day for any of the proposals, except for potential amendments. To clarify, this year only adult members who had renewed their membership on or before 3rd February 2020 are eligible to vote when the online vote opens after the AGM and a further announcement will be made regarding this.

2020 AGM - Online webinar via Zoom

AGM Announcement 25th April 10am till 4pm

The Committee is pleased to announce that this years AGM will be fully online in the form of a Zoom webinar.

This will give all members the opportunity to hear updates from the officials and to participate in discussion for all proposed changes to the rules.

Following the closure of the BFA Committee Nomination vote the BFA Committee are pleased to announce your new committee for 2020/21. The current committee will remain in post until the meeting of the new committee on 26th April. BFA VIPER update - cancelled tournaments and refunds

Cancelled March & April Tournaments and Refunds The BFA Committee, as part of the recent VIPER meeting, have been made aware that some tournament organisers have yet to receive payment for their March and April tournaments. As you can appreciate, tournament organisers are busy considering if they are able to offer refunds but are finding it difficult to do this in an equitable manner when they have outstanding payments due. Many tournament organisers are also waiting to hear from their venues as to whether they will receive any refund for their booking so please continue to be patient.

With the current climate being as it is and with the ongoing effect that The Covid 19 outbreak is having on the BFA calendar, the Committee has decided to delay this years AGM until the end of April.

The BFA Committee have held a VIPER meeting via Skype and, due to increasing concerns and restrictions surrounding COVID-19, have made the decision to cancel all BFA Sanctioned Tournaments up to and including 31st May 2020. All relevant Tournament Organisers have been informed. The affected tournaments are:

2-3 May 2020 – Cowgate Farm – Shooting Stars

2-3 May 2020 – Milton of Crathes – Banchory Bravehearts

COVID-19 Announcement

The BFA Committee, due to increasing concerns surrounding COVID-19, have made the decision to cancel all BFA Sanctioned Tournaments up until 30th April 2020.  All relevant Tournament Organisers have been informed.  The affected tournaments are:

21/22 March 2020 – Newark Showground – Nuneaton Flyers

28 March 2020 – North Yorkshire Event Centre, Scorton – Commandos

29 March 2020 – Deeside Leisure Centre – Carry On’s

10/11/12 April 2020 – South of England Showground – Ace’s High
