BFA Committee VIPER Update 20th July 2020
The BFA committee has been closely following updates from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and we have consulted with tournament organisers who are scheduled to host BFA sanctioned events in September and October.
Following this consultation, the decision has been made that there will be no BFA sanctioned tournaments held during September 2020.
However, we are looking at ways to bring competitive flyball back to the membership and are being proactive in considering unsanctioned events. The principle behind this is so teams can host a variety of events, with smaller numbers of attendees, in order than we can ensure safety for all our members and plan for our return to sanctioned racing.
A decision regarding October tournaments will be made in due course and we shall keep you informed as soon as a decision is made.
